Do your prices include printing on the surface of the disc?

Yes, all our prices include top quality full colour printing directly onto the surface of the disc. We do not us sticky labels, we print directly onto the discs surface.

Do your prices include putting our tracks/data/video etc. on the disc?

Yes, our prices include duplicating your tracks/data/video etc. onto the discs.

If I order discs in cases with inserts do you pack them ready for sale?

Yes, if you order discs in cases (with paper inserts/sleeves) they will be packed ready for sale.

What file types do you accept?

We can accept the following file types:-
ARTWORK
PDF, PSD, BMP, TIFF, TIF, JPEG, JPG, PUB, EPS, PNG, TGA, AI, ZIP, 7Z. PDF (300 DPI, CMYK) is preferred - we will convert other filetypes to this format for you. You can download a template from TEMPLATES. Please feel free to call us on 0161 796 5005 to discuss any aspect of your artwork further.
Important note:- If you are sending PSD files, please "flatten" the layers before sending.

AUDIO CD
WAV, MP3, AIF, AIFF, WMA and DDP files.
44.1khz, 16 bit stereo WAV files are preferred. Other formats will be converted to 44.1khz, 16 bit stereo WAV at the customers risk.

VIDEO DVD
A DVD Video disc has two folders in the root directory:- AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS. We need all of the files in the VIDEO_TS folder (ifo,bup and vob files) in order to create a playable DVD Video disc.
Files (including ISO Image Files and DDP files) can also be accepted.
wmv,mov,m2v and avi files can also be accepted, these will have to be "authored" to create a playable master DVD and an additional charge may apply.

CD-ROM and DVD-ROMs
ISO image files or master discs are preferred however please see below for details of how to get your files to us. ISO images are not suitable for audio CDs.

GENERAL:- Avoid sending files via e-mail as files over 10mb in size are generally blocked without notification. If you have an alternative file transfer system that you prefer to use, we are quite happy to receive files from you that way.
It may sound obvious but please include your name and contact details with any discs posted to us.

Discs duplicated from files that have been uploaded to us are at customers own risk. We can provide a test disc upon request.

Why do you recommend shrink wrapping?

Most retailers (including online ones such as Amazon) won't stock discs unless they are shrink wrapped. Customers expect discs to be shrink wrapped – they will think that they have been returned or are 2nd hand and won't buy them unless they are shrink wrapped. Shrink wrapping also protects the discs/cases from damage during transit to ensure that they are in pristine condition (no scratches) when the customer removes the wrapping

What happens if the discs I order don't work?

All work is fully guaranteed so you have nothing to worry about however we can only duplicate the information you provide us with. If time allows, we always prefer to receive a tested master disc to duplicate from.
If files are uploaded to us - it is your obligation to ensure that the correct files and information is supplied to us.

Do you keep a copy of the master and artwork so that we can re-order without having to send everything through again?

Yes we do, we keep everything we need to so that re-ordering is simple. We even provide you with a re-order reference number to quote when re-ordering.

Can we drop the master disc and artwork off at your premises?

You certainly can do, and we will be delighted to see you. If you would like to discuss the job with us, please call first on 0161 796 5005 to make an appointment. If you come outside of our normal opening hours, we do have a letterbox around the side of the building that discs can be put through. Please ensure the disc has your name and contact number with it.

Can you deliver directly to my customer?

Yes we can, we can deliver without any identifying marks or paperwork so that your customer will not know the order has come from us.

Can you deliver to 2 or more different addresses?

Yes we can, there will be a delivery charge for each individual address though.

Once I have placed my order, can I change it?

It depends if production has already started. If you need any changes then please contact us immediately.

Can you accept an ISO image file?

IMPORTANT NOTE:-WE CANNOT ACCEPT ISO IMAGE FILES OF AUDIO CDS.

Can I e-mail my files to you?

The problem with e-mail is that most internet service providers limit e-mails to (usually) a maximum size of 10mb. Any e-mail (including attachments) that is larger than 10mb will usually not arrive. Whilst 10mb may be sufficient for some artwork and short audio files, it is usually not sufficient for most audio tracks etc.

Is your 1 day service really the same day?

Production will start the next working day after we have received your content (audio, video, data etc), print ready artwork and confirmation of order.
The order will then be ready for collection either on the day of production or the following day (depending on order quantity etc). If the order is being delivered please allow an extra day for delivery.
An example:- 100 CDs ordered at 1pm on a Monday. Production will start on Tuesday and the job will be ready for collection or despatch on either on Tuesday.

Do you provide a "Same day service"?

We can provide a same day service under certain circumstances.
Please call us on 0161 796 5005 or e-mail info@expressduplication.co.uk outlining the quantity and any other relevant aspects of the job. Please also include your name and telephone number. There may be a surcharge for a sameday service.

When I receive my discs, will I be able to add my own data/files/music etc to them?

We can supply pre-printed blank CDs and DVDs that you can then duplicate yourself.
In general, duplicated discs will not allow further data to be added.
If pre-arranged, we can provide "Multisession" discs - these discs are duplicated by ourselves and can have additional data added to them by yourself at a later date if required.
"Multisession" discs have to be duplicated from a specially produced master disc and therefore you must call us on 0161 796 5005 to arrange this when ordering.
